“Take care of your feet and they will take you anywhere.” My name is Andres Beregovich and I’m a professional adventure photographer. I have worked with brands such as Nikon, National Geographic, Red Bull, The North Face, Millet and Oakley to name a few. I have been in expeditions through Antarctica, Iceland, Amazonas, Patagonia, Atacama Desert and many other places in the world and, at the end of the day, nothing is more important that having your feet secured, comfortable and able to keep pushing. Hanwag is a key element to my travels and their products allow me to get to those places where few people have been.
A Tasty Hike
Christian and Jana from A Tasty Hike are dedicated hikers. Fun hiking with all the extras is their thing. This generally includes stopping somewhere for food along the way. They go hiking all over the world and have been blogging about their hikes since 2015. In addition to trip reports, they provide route suggestions, information about hiking products, loads of hiking-related advice – and of course, plenty of culinary recommendations.
Christian and Jana live in the Allgäu and this is where they are heading out to show us that Germany has far more to offer hiking enthusiasts than just the Zugspitze.
You Are An Adventure Story
We’re Maggy and Anja, we’re mountain enthusiasts and outdoor bloggers (www.youareanadventurestory.com) from Munich. We started posting about our experiences in the great outdoors and the mountains with Hanwag in 2017. We just love getting out there and up there. This might involve classic hiking, mountaineering or via ferratas. We’re also into trail running and speed hiking. We’ve been up Kilimanjaro and done the Seven European Summits. This year, our projects include Mount Elbrus and the Carstensz Pyramid. It’s great to be on board with Hanwag and to know that we’re on a secure footing for adventures and summits to come.
I’ve been part of the Hanwag Test Team for about five years now. As such, I work closely with the R&D team to test and evaluate new models and improve existing products. Be it the North Face of the Eiger, the Dolomites, Chamonix, Yosemite or Patagonia – my world is all about the mountains, and it always has been. After finishing university, I started working as a full-time mountain guide to be in the mountains as much and long as possible – including when I am at work. Climbing and mountaineering in summer or winter means so much to me. I love experiencing freedom, mastering challenges and rediscovering nature over and over again.
